How to Service and Repair a Throttle Cable on 2000 Chevrolet Metro?

When servicing the throttle cable/linkage, disconnect the accelerator control cable on the pedal and also remove the air cleaner. Relax the cable locknut, swing the throttle lever to the wide open position, and take off the cable end. To install, do the converse and make changes in the accelerator control cable.
