How to Service Canister Purge Valves on 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

Service of the Canister Purge Valves requires that the Ignition should be OFF. Begin by taking out the fuel injection sight shield followed by hose and electrical connector separation from the EVAP canister purge valves. The Bendable tab on the solenoid mounting bracket needs to be unfolded for proper removal of the EVAP canister purge valves. When installing the EVAP canister purge valves it is necessary to bend the tab on the solenoid mounting bracket for insertion and subsequent unbending to complete valve installation before adding hoses and the electrical connector. Put back the fuel injection sight shield as the last step.
