    A: The imt sensor, (IMT sensor), is situated in the air intake duct. To disconnect it first you turn off the ignition then disconnect the imt sensor electrical connector. Hold the imt sensor and lift it with a twisting and pulling action. For installation, reposition and insert the imt sensor back to the air intake duct and finally attach to the imt electrical socket.
