How to replace the A/C Switch in the HVAC system on 2000 Chevrolet Prizm?

To remove the contriol assembly, go ahead and extract the center-console trim bezel, and remove the two screws to extract out the two screws, as well as moving the HVAC contriol unit forward. Remove the electrical connector plugged into the blower speed selector switch and the electrical connector from the A/C switch. In removing the HVAC unit, the control unit for the cable, temperature control cable, mode control cable and fresh/recirc control cable should first be removed. To install, replace the HVAC control unit to its original position and reattach the temperature control cable, mode control cable (including both fresh and recirc control cables). Connect the blower speed selector switch electrical connector and the A/C switch electrical connector, then fasten the HVAC control unit to the instrument panel with the two screws and the center console trim bezel. Lastly, modify the cables to ensure their proper working functions.
