  A: Before uninstalling the negative (-) Battery Cable ensure you have the correct replacement cable which matches both in type and size and length but also consider the extra feed wires on positive (+) cables and the extra ground leads on negative (-) cables. The negative (-) Battery Cable requires disconnect before taking out the air cleaner assembly. Start by taking off the ground bolt and negative Battery Cable components located below the air cleaner intake in the body before moving to remove the ground bolt and cable from the transaxle housing. Detach the electrical connector from the transaxle housing ground bolt then extract the cable from its harness retainers before removing it from the vehicle. To install the cable, thread the negative (-) Battery Cable into your vehicle until it reaches the transaxle housing where you shall fasten the ground bolt to 23 n.m (17 lb ft). Before installing the cable connect the transaxle housing ground bolt electrical connector then route the cable under the air cleaner intake and fasten it with a bolt tightened to 14 n.m (124 lb in).
