Q: How to service and repair the steering knuckle on 2000 Chevrolet Venture?
A: To service & repair the Steering Knuckle, first, lift & supporjt the vehicle. Steal the tire and wheel, as well as the Brake Caliper Bracket with the brake caliper, and finally remove the brake rotor. Then, release the front wheel bearing/hub, lower control arm ball stud, lower control arm ball stud on the Steering Knuckle, and the outer Tie Rod End from Steering Knuckle. Make a bolt or mark on the Steering Knuckle to membrane the orientation of the strut to the knuckle, then removal Steering Knuckle from the strut and removal also of Steering Knuckle. To install, align the Steering Knuckle over the drive axle and fix to strut. For the outer Tie Rod End, reconnect to the Steering Knuckle, followed by lower control arm ball stud. Mount your front wheel bearing/hub, and then install the brake rotor, and reinstall the Brake Caliper Bracket with the brake caliper. Finally, switch on the tire and wheel and bring the vehicle down.
