The Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover (J 38778) should be used to eliminate retainers from both the wheelhouse and fender splash shield before replacement. Lot the new fender splash shield in position through wheelhouse holes after fitting it into place correctly. Then push the retainers to lock the fender splash shield into its installation holes.
