How to service the knock sensor on 2000 GMC Safari?

First, disconnect the negative Battery Cable in order to service the Knock Sensor. Next, take off the engine cover, disconnect Knock Sensor harness connector and take out Knock Sensor. For installation apply the following step, start firstly with installation of the Knock Sensor and be sure that it is fixed to in order of 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Then reconnect the Knock Sensor harness connector and then reinstall the engine cover, and lastly reconnect the negative cable.
