Clean the oil level indicator tube then apply gm sealant p/n 12345493 or equivalent around the bead at 12.7 mm (0.50 inch) distance underneath the tube. Place the installed oil level indicator tube within the engine block before tightening the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). The process ends with reinstallation of the oil level indicator along with connecting the Spark Plug wire to the number five cylinder Spark Plug.
