  A: In order to remove the turn signal cancel cam and upper bearing spring on the Steering Shaft, one must disconnect the battery negative cable. Switch off once more the sir system and additionally delete the inflator module and the Steering Wheel. Next, pull-off the sir coil from the steering column upper shaft letting it hang. Take out the wave washer from the Steering Shaft , then squeeze the shaft lock plate with the use of lock plate compressor (J 23653-SIR) and lock plate compressor adapter (J 42137). After that take away the bearing retainer, then the lock plate compressor (J 23653-SIR) and lock plate compressor adapter(J 42137) should be taken away from the Steering Shaft. Unscrew the lock plate compressor (J 23653-SIR) and lockplate compressor adapter (J42137) from the Steering Shaft and install the wave washer on the Steering Shaft. Finally, reinstall the sir coil, steering wheel, and inflator module, enable sir system, and reconnect the negative cable of the battery.
