Raising and supporting the vehicle represents the first step before starting any service or repair work on the rear Sway Bar Link. Unfasten the sway bar shaft nut while detaching the Sway Bar Link from the strut before removing the link. The service precautions regarding fasteners need to be followed for installation steps. Fasten the Sway Bar Link onto its position and tighten the Sway Bar Link nut to 35 nm (26 ft. Lbs.). Stick the Sway Bar Link onto the strut after which you must torque the Sway Bar Link to strut nut to 35 nm (26 ft. Lbs.). Finally, lower the vehicle.
