The replacement of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) outlet pipe starts with removing the mounting bolt securing the egr outlet pipe flange to the Intake Manifold and continues with the nut which fastens the egr outlet pipe to the egr valve adapter pipe assembly before extracting the egr valve outlet pipe . Before installing the egr valve outlet pipe you must carefully position it according to the fastener notice in service precautions. Install bolt to the Intake Manifold while tightening it to 29 n.m (21 lb ft). Secure the retaining nut to the egr valve adapter pipe assembly while torquing it to 29 n.m (21 lb ft).
