How to Replace a Vehicle Speed Sensor for Input on 2001 Buick Park Avenue?

The first step in replacing input speed sensor (440) is to take off the case side cover and disconnect the transaxle wiring harness. Now, take the input speed sensor clip out from the case cover and afterwards take out the input speed sensor (440). Make sure to check the input speed sensor (440) for problems, including a missing magnet, damage to the housing, bent or lost electrical contacts, and a damaged speed sensor clip (441). To install, put the input speed sensor (440) into the case cover and then clip the input speed sensor (441) into place. Once you have connected the transaxle wiring harness, put the case side cover back on.
