Set transmission in neutral, raise vehicle. Remove heatshields and center bearing bracket bolts. Mark shaft front; detach from transmission, slide back, lower. Mark rear; detach from differential, slide forward, lower, extract shaft between exhaust and body. For installation, refit bearing, position shaft, grease flanges, fasten bracket, align marks, secure couplings, reinstall heatshields.
