To replace the transmission mount, initially lift and secure the vehicle, and using a transmission jack, secure this also. Get rid of the crossmember-to-transmission mount nuts and the crossmember-to-body bolts - followed by disassembling the crossmember. Then, disconnect the transmission mount-to-case and remove the transmission mount. For installing, install the new transmission mount and its bolts to 40 nm (30 ft. Lbs.) of torque tightening. Fit back and tighten the crossmember to the body with the crossmember-to-body bolts with 45 nm (33 ft. Lbs) torque. Finally, attach and tighten the crossmember-to-transmission mount nuts to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.); remove the transmission jack and the vehicle.
