Place a transmission jack under the transmission, then take out the crossmember-to-transmission mount nuts and crossmember-to-body bolts , and remove the crossmember. After that, take out the transmission mount-to-case bolts and take the transmission mount off the car. Start by putting the transmission mount into place, and follow the instructions in the fastener notice from service precautions. After putting the transmission mount bolts in place, turn them until they reach 40 nm (30 ft. Lbs.). Set the crossmember into place and hold it with the crossmember-to-body bolts, tightening these to 45 nm (33 ft. Lbs.). Lastly, put the crossmember-to-transmission mount nuts on and tighten to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). Take away the transmission jack, and lower the vehicle.
