Start with the removal of the battery negative cable, remove the right front gusset. Next, remove the nut holding the battery negative cable against you the engine and the nut holding the cable to the side rail. Pull out the battery negative cable from the vehicle, and attach the new battery negative cable to the side rail and tighten the nut onto it until it meets 17 N.m (13 lb ft). Then, mount the nut to connect the cable to the engine, 25 N.m (18 lb ft). Lastly, install the right front gusset and attach the negative cable back to the battery.
