  A: To remove the generator, firstly disconnect the battery negative cable and remove the Drive Belt, radiator support sight shield as well as the upper front generator mounting bolt unless it is already removed. Lift and put up the car, and then take out the engine splash shield and the bolts holding the generator access cover to the front compartment lower panel before removing the cover. Mount the engine splash shield and lower the vehicle; mount the upper front mounting bolt with 47 n.m (35 lb ft), and then mount the radiator support sight shield, the Drive Belt, and reconnect the battery negative cable.
