  A: The first step to replace an Evaporator core involves recovering all refrigerant refrigerant. Lower the combination of the engine with the Transmission Assembly to proceed. The Evaporator core needs installer to perform disconnect operations on its collector tube and its distribution tube. After removing the Blower Motor and the Evaporator core rubber barrier cover and Evaporator core cover teams can proceed to uninstall the Evaporator core itself. Installation of the new Evaporator core requires tightening all screws of the Evaporator core cover to 5 n.m (44 lb ft) while the screws of the Evaporator core rubber barrier cover follow the same torque specification. Nova install the Blower Motor while connecting the Evaporator tube and accumulator tube to the Evaporator core then raise the engine and Transmission Assembly above. Conclude the a/c system refill by conducting fitting inspection on all components with the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).
