  A: To service and repair the brake rotor, start by collecting tools such as: j 39144 composite rotor mounting adapter, j 41013 rotor resurfacing kit, j 42450-a Wheel Hub resurfacing kit and j 39544-kit complete torque socket set (10 Pieces) are the new laboratory equipment that propper will acquire for use in its operation. Disassembly of the brake caliper, noting the brake rotor to establish its relationship with the hub. Clean the rotor and flange marrying surface of any rust or foreign material using the j 42450 hub cleaning kit in order to avoid increased lateral runout and brake pulsates. Pull out the brake rotor and wash the Wheel Bearing/hub with j 42450-a. Measuring the recessed point of the brake rotor using a micrometer; in case it exceeds the minimum thickness then do not refinish it and change the rotor. Before reinstalling the brake rotor, ensure the rotor/hub flange and rotor/wheel mating surface are clean from rust using the j 41013. Finally, put on the brake caliper, and use the matching torque socket from the j 39544-kit or a torque wrench to tightend the wheel nuts to the required specification to avoid brake pulsation and rotor damage.
