The first step requires removing the harness connector from the evap canister purge valves then you must separate both the engine purge pipe and the engine vacuum pipe from the purge valves. First disconnect and remove the evap canister purge valves through removal of their mounting bracket attaching bolt. The first step for installation involves installing the evap canister purge valves and mounting them with an attaching bolt which should be tightened to 8 N.m (71 lb in). Finally, reinstall the evap canister purge valves harness connector while connecting the engine purge pipe and engine vacuum pipe to the valves. Reinstall the air cleaner outlet resonator at the end of replacement.
