First disconnect the negative Battery Cable followed by the removal of ecu relay bracket bolt and ecu relay bracket before removing the ecu itself along with disconnecting all electrical connectors. To detach the ecu mounting bracket start by unscrewing nuts from its mounting studs before removing the bracket. The ecu mounting bracket installation requires mounting studs to receive their stud nuts tightened to 10 n.m (69 lb in). Safely attach the electrical connectors to the ecu followed by installing the ecu onto its mounting position. The next step is to install the ecu relay bracket followed by tightening its bolt to 10 n.m (89 lb in) until complete installation of the front bumper fascia. Programming the af ecu through flashing must be done before trying to start the vehicle. After reconnecting the negative Battery Cable users must tighten the bolt to 15 n.m (11 lb ft).
