Symmetrically loosen the fill valve boot clamp after which you can peel back the boot to disconnect the fill line from the fill valve. After loosening the clamp on the tank vent boot you should peel back the boot to expose the union. Then disconnect the till line at the union before removing the till line. You should install new o-ring face seals that are coated with petroleum jelly or an equivalent substance before tightening fill line fittings to 37 n.m (27 lb ft). Rejoin the battery negative lead cable by tightening its bolt to 15 n.m (11 lb ft) while you also connect the hpl power electrical connector.
