Extract the door hinge to door bolts before pulling out the door hinge completely from the vehicle. The new door hinge must be put onto the vehicle before you install the door hinge to body bolts while keeping them finger-tight. After installation of the door hinge to door bolts begins the process of bolt finger tightening. Use the grease pencil marks to position the hinge correctly before tightening the door hinge to body bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft) and the door hinge to door bolts to the same torque value. Wash all remaining grease pencil residue from installation before putting back the rubber conduit. Finishing the process involves proper adjustment of the door.
