How to assemble the Wiper Switch on 2001 Chevrolet Lumina?

Carefully push the pivot and dimmer switch connector onto the lock housing cover through its sleeve to avoid wire damage. Omit the following step when you left the pivot and pulse dimmer switch assembly hanging. Fit the switch by placing the wire harness clamp at the tab inside the cover first then pushing the switch walls into the upper and lower wings. Insert the switch component underneath and complete the connection by attaching the connector to its bulkhead port. Secure the flat head screw into the pivot and pulse functions of the dimmer switch at 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.). Secure the round washer head screw into the head of the dimmer switch using a torque of 3 Nm (27 inch lbs.). Press the top and bottom sides of the housing cover end cap into the slots on the lock housing cover and sleeve component. Set the last part into place as the final step.
