    A: Replacing the engine front cover begins by draining the cooling system while also removing the Oil Pan along with the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor and lower front cover bolts . Before anything begin start by lowering the vehicle and taking out the Engine Mount and Engine Mount bracket support along with the Power Steering Pump. Begin by loosening the Water Pump Pulley bolts followed by removing the Drive Belt tensioner and the Drive Belt. Continue by removing the Water Pump Pulley bolts and pulley. Start by removing the thermostat bypass pipe and the lower Radiator Hose to the coolant outlet housing. Then remove the upper front cover bolts and the front cover itself. After extracting the front cover oil seal you should wash down both the front cover as well as Oil Pan and cylinder block surfaces with a degreasing solution. To avoid any damage to seal surfaces install the front cover gasket and oil seal before placing the front cover onto the engine. Torque the upper 2 front cover bolts to 21 nm (115 ft. Lbs.). Reinstall the lower Radiator Hose to the coolant housing and the thermostat bypass pipe, then raise the vehicle to install the front cover (lower) bolts , tightening the small bolts to 21 nm (15 ft. Lbs.) the front cover needs large bolts which must reach torque specification at 47 nm (35 ft. Lbs.) while small bolts should achieve 21 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). After lowering the vehicle, put in the Drive Belt tensioner followed by the Power Steering Pump, water pump pulley and bolts, and Drive Belt. Finally, install the Engine Mount, tightening the Water Pump Pulley bolts to 25 nm (19 ft. Lbs.)reinstall the Oil Pan followed by a cooling system refill.
