How to service the MAP Sensor on 2001 Chevrolet Metro?

Begin servicing the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor by detaching the retaining bracket bolt followed by lifting out the MAP sensor from the intake plenum before disconnection of the electrical connector. Place the new MAP sensor onto its bracket after the sensor removal before reattaching the electrical connector. Following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions mount the MAP sensor to the vacuum port of the intake plenum before securing the MAP sensor bracket bolt at 10 N.m (89 lb in).
