How to replace the rear Trunk Lock Cylinder on 2001 Chevrolet Prizm?

Begin replacing the rear compartment lid lock cylinder by opening the lid first. Disconnect the lock rod from cylinder at the back compartment and pull out the retaining clip along with the lock cylinder from the same area. Place the rear compartment lid lock cylinder on the compartment door and fasten it with the retaining clip. Put the rear compartment lid lock cylinder rod back into its place on the cylinder before closing the lid.
