Begin the Fuel Filler Hose replacement by removing both the fuel filler cap together with the 3 fuel filler pipe bolts which are positioned behind the fuel filler door. The vehicle needs to rest on proper supports with the right height. The first step of replacement requires the disconnect of fuel tank filler hose and fuel tank breather hose from the fuel filler pipe . Afterward, remove the fuel filler pipe along with its gasket from the vehicle. You must first connect the fuel tank breather hose to the fuel filler pipe followed by the fuel tank filler hose to the fuel filler pipe. Subsequently install the fuel filler pipe and its gasket within the fuel filler door compartment. Lower the vehicle and hold the fuel tank filler pipe into the fuel filler door opening through 3 bolts which you should tighten to 3.5 n.m (26 lb in). Set the fuel filler cap in its proper position as the last step.
