Your replacement work on the Fuel Filler Hose begins with both removing the fuel filler cap and extracting the 3 fuel filler pipe bolts that fasten behind the fuel filler door. Follow all vehicle lifting precautions while supporting the vehicle at a raised position. Detach the fuel tank filler hose and the fuel tank breather hose from the fuel filler pipe following which you can remove the fuel filler pipe and gasket from the vehicle. You must install the fuel tank breather hose with the fuel tank filler hose on the fuel filler pipe before positioning this assembly along with its gasket in the fuel filler door compartment. Lower the vehicle and place the 3 bolts through the fuel tank filler pipe to attach it to the opening in the fuel filler door compartment while tightening them to 3.5 n.m (26 lb in). Install the fuel filler cap during the last steps of the process.
