Clean both threads and holes on the engine Flywheel before assembly with engine Flywheel and its retainer. Apply the fastener instructions outlined in the service precautions and secure the Flywheel bolts to 71 nm (52 ft. Lbs.). Reinstallation of the automatic transaxle needs to happen after completing all work. Start by supporting the vehicle and removing the torque converter cover together with the Starter motor which allows access to the removal of Flywheel to torque converter bolts. Install the Flywheel to torque converter bolts at 63 nm (47 ft. Lbs.) torque before starting the Starter motor installation process. Then install the torque converter cover and complete the procedure by lowering the vehicle.
