How to replace the coolant reservoir on 2001 GMC Jimmy?

To replace coolant recovery reservoir disconnect the PCM before starting to remove it without disconnecting the wiring harness. Then, disconnect the hose from the coolant recovery reservoir, extract the retaining nuts, and remove the reservoir itself. Make sure that the coolant is drained from the reservoir. For the installation, mount new coolant recovery reservoir and tighten the retaining nuts up to 8 -11 Nm (6 - 8 ft lbs), then attach the hose again. Finally, offload the PCM and increase the amount of coolant in the reservoir.
