The technician should raise the vehicle and clean the vent hose connection at the Fuel Tank before removing both the vent hose and the clamp. The second step requires wiping the Fuel Filler Hose connection at the Fuel Tank before removing the Fuel Filler Hose and clamp . The first step involves removing the filler pipe groundstrap bolt while the installer also removes all screws which attach the fuel fill pipe to fill pipe housing. Follow the procedure by removing the fuel fill and vent pipes in addition to the hoses. To install the system, coppia the fuel fill and vent pipes and hoses to the Fuel Tank and fill pipe housing while securing the vent hose clamp at 1.7 n.m (15 lb in) and the fuel fill hose clamp at 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). Connect the fill pipe ground strap by using the bolt combined with the washer . Tighten the bolt to achieve a torque of 15 n.m (11 lb ft).
