    A: In order to replace the engine oil pressure switch you must first remove the engine cover. Remove the engine oil pressure switch electrical connector and have a wrench holding the engine oil pressure switch fitting. Replace the engine oil pressure switch with a new one by using the Oil Pressure Switch Socket (J 41712) while noting prior to removal the alignment of the switch fitting. If needed, take off the engine oil pressure switch fitting. If the fitting is removed, it should be installed and tightened down to 15 N.m (11 lb ft), without loosening or over-tightening it more than one turn for alignment. Next are the installation of the engine oil pressure switch, which has to be held with a wrench so that it doesn't rotate, tighten it with a torque of 30 N.m (22 lb ft) through the Oil Pressure Switch Socket (J 41172). Lastly, reconnect the engine oil pressure switch electric connector and replace the engine cover.
