Install the front output shaft seal with the front output shaft seal installer (J 44636-1). Also remove this instrument along with the protector from the output shaft afterward. The final steps involve installing the front props shaft followed by checking the transfer case fluid level, unscrewing the transfer case shield and then lowering the vehicle.
