How to replace the wiper arm on 2001 GMC Safari?

Begin your Wiper Arm replacement process by disconnecting the washer hose from it. Apply a suitable marker to your windshield to show the right assembly placement before you detach the Wiper Arm and blade parts. This help later when you reinstall them. Take the Wiper Arm assembly off from its position near the windshield and release the latch to disconnect it from the transmission drive shaft. Align the Wiper Arm assembly onto the drive shaft and press its retaining lock to install both the arm and blade. Make sure the blade sits correctly at the same point as marked previously. Finally, reinstall the washer hose.
