How to replace the rear wiper arm on 2000 GMC Safari?

Start the replacement of the rear Wiper Arm by using a suitable marker or masking tape to track the Wiper Blade's position on the liftgate. Work the washer hose through the liftgate grommet and separate it from the washer harness connector. Using a screwdriver tool you can push out the Wiper Arm retaining clip until you can then extract the Wiper Arm from its drive shaft position on the wiper motor. The new Wiper Arm needs to be placed on the wiper motor drive shaft with blade tip at the same spot where you marked previously. After inserting the drive shaft Wiper Arm attach the retaining clip correctly. Evenly guide the washer hose back to the washer harness connector while re-routing it through the grommet of the liftgate. Test the rear wiper for correct functioning after everything is set.
