How to replace the EGR valve on 2001 GMC Savana 2500?

In order to install the EGR valve, unfasten the negative battery cable, and then take out the air cleaner assembly. Record the EGR valve location prior to its take-off. Unhook the harness, take out the valve and gasket, wash the surface and put a new gasket. Install the valve again, screw the bolts, reconnect the harness and assemble.
