Before you replace the coolant recovery reservoir start by draining the coolant then move the air cleaner assembly to remove it out of the way. Start by removing Coolant Reservoir the nuts and bolts along with the coolant hose before pulling out the reservoir from the vehicle. When installing a new reservoir add the coolant hose to it then secure the Coolant Reservoir in place. Before tightening any Coolant Reservoir bolting components be sure to read and follow the fastener notice information provided in the service precautions section. Secure the Coolant Reservoir bolt to 9 nm (80 inch lbs.) and the mounting nuts to 6 nm (53 inch lbs.). Move the air cleaner and complete the cooling system refilling step.
