In order to change the rack and pinion boot, lift the car, take off the tire and unscrew the outer tie rod. Loose the tie rod end clamp, the boot clamp and the boot. Fit the new boot, fix it, and reconnect the parts and then lower the vehicle and make the toe alignment.
