Begin tail lamp service by removing the rear compartment sill plate followed by disconnecting the electrical connector. Start by removing the taillamp's three securing nuts from the vehicle then remove the grommet from the rear end panel before you can take out the taillamp . To separate the taillamp bulb and socket first push free the locking tab then rotate them counterclockwise before removing the bulb from its socket. To start the installation you must first set the bulb inside the socket before you turn the bulb and socket clockwise until they lock into the lamp while also checking that the grommet is completely seated. Attach the grommet to the rear end panel first and after that set the taillamp to the vehicle before tightening the three nuts . Reconnect both electrical connectors afterward replacing the rear compartment sill plate.
