Begin by removing the fuel filler pipe attaching nut from the wheelhouse stud followed by disconnection of the fuel filler pipe attaching screw from the wheelhouse panel before relaxing the fuel filler pipe clamp. Pull the fuel filler pipe free from the Fuel Tank before extracting it from the placement in the fuel filler pocket grommet. To install the fuel filler pipe thread it into the grommet opening on the fuel fill pocket before securing it to the Fuel Tank while ensuring complete tank insertion. The mechanic should apply 2.5 n.m (22 lb in) torque to the fuel filler pipe clamp before attaching the fuel filler pipe screw to the wheelhouse panel by tightening it to 25 n.m (18 lb ft).
