  A: When replacing the vacuum Brake Booster park your vehicle on level ground using wheel blocks and activate the parking brake. Move the surge tank carefully out of the way by unthreading both its screw and nuts. Pull out the check valve from the booster then unfasten the master cylinder. Scope out the inlet heater pipe and keep it safe before lifting out the left insulator panel and left knee bolster. Use a finger to push down the steering shaft protective boot and find both left booster attaching nuts. Loosen the nuts (2,3) at the Brake Pedal assembly. Pull off the clevis pin washer and retaining clip first, then detach the pushrod from its position, and put out the vacuum booster correctly. You should take off the mounting gasket if needed. Install the Brake Booster mounting gasket onto the unit unless you had already removed it earlier. Place the vacuum Brake Booster inside the vehicle and connect its pushrod end to the Brake Pedal clevis pin.
