The Power Steering Pump replacement requires a first step of removing both the Drive Belt and power steering hoses from the pump before using a tool to unscrew the mounting bolts that secure the pump to the engine. The new Power Steering Pump needs to be installed on the engine after pump detachment following the fastener notice for correct assembly. Reconnect power steering hoses after mounting bolts go onto the pump and tighten them to 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.). Reinstall the Drive Belt after that step. To complete installation use power steering fluid during pump filling after which a power steering system bleed procedure needs to be performed to purge air from the system.
