The generator replacement procedure requires users to first disconnect the negative Battery Cable then remove the accessory Drive Belt. To disconnect the generator start by pulling the electrical connector then slide back the boot on the cable before removing the engine harness cable nut and detaching the terminal from the stud. Begin the generator replacement by uninstalling the generator bolts followed by generator extraction. Install the generator by putting it into position while tightening its generator bolts to a torque of 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Secure the connective terminal by installing it onto the stud and fastening it with the engine harness cable nut while torquing up to 13 n.m (10 lb ft) then spread the boot across the generator stud. Finish up by reconnecting the electrical generator connector then reattaching the negative Battery Cable and installing the accessory Drive Belt.
