Service of the headlamp bulb starts by opening the hood followed by removing the headlamp motor/actuator cover from the knob. First use the manual control knob to elevate the headlamp by rotating it counterclockwise and afterward disconnect the electrical connector from the forward lamp wiring harness and detach the headlamp bezel. The user needs to exercise caution when dealing with halogen bulbs. Reach the headlamp bulb/socket through the opening at the frame rail between the assembly and perform a counterclockwise rotation to free it from the capsule then detach the electrical connector. Begin the installation by attaching the electrical connector to the headlamp bulb/socket which you should subsequently install into the headlamp capsule through clockwise rotation until it reaches full seating. After installing the bezel you should operate the headlamp motor/actuator manual control knob clockwise to drop the headlamp and reattach its wiring harness to the forward lamp wiring harness. Use the headlamp motor/actuator knob cover after you check and adjust the headlamp aim, then close the hood.
