The replacement of the Power Steering Reservoir outlet pipe/hose begins by positioning a drain pan underneath the vehicle. You must remove both clamps: the one on the Power Steering Pump outlet hose and the other on the Power Steering Reservoir outlet hose. Remove the outlet hose from both the vehicle and reservoir and Power Steering Pump. The installation process starts by mounting the outlet hose to the Power Steering Reservoir and then to the Power Steering Pump before using the retaining clamps for both connections. Proper power steering system operation requires a bleeding procedure at the end of installation.
