The first step to replace the left Engine Mount begins with removing the upper Fan Shroud followed by raising the vehicle. Disconnect both pieces from the engine mounting through-bolt which supports the left side Engine Mount replacement. The Starter should be removed as a separate step when replacing the right side Engine Mount. The engine should be supported during maintenance through jack placement that excludes the Oil Pan and sheet metal and crankshaft balancer. Using a jack positioned at the square tab on the engine block rear can raise the motor up until the mount clears with no dash panel interference. Start the procedure by unbolting the Engine Mount to Engine Mount frame bracket and then remove the Engine Mount.
