Start the right Engine Mount replacement by removing the upper Fan Shroud followed by vehicle lifting. First remove the through-bolt and nut which maintains the engine mounting position of the side involved in replacement together with the Starter when addressing right-side mounts. Supporting or raising the engine requires you to avoid placing the jack under the Oil Pan sheet metal or crankshaft balancer since this could cause damage. A square-jack placed on the rear engine block tab will lift the engine slightly to let the Engine Mount be taken out. Examine whether the engine rear part intersects with dash panel components before removing all Engine Mount to frame bracket bolts and the Engine Mount assembly. The process of removing the Engine Mount engine bracket includes unbolting it from the Engine Mount engine bracket while also shedding the heat shield if required. Begin by installing and tightening the heat shield bolts to 6 nm (53 inch lbs.) before adding the Engine Mount engine bracket and its bolts and fastening them to 54 nm (40 ft. Lbs.). You must now install both the Engine Mount together with the Engine Mount to Engine Mount frame bracket bolts with a torque of 58 nm (43 ft. Lbs.). Placing the engine at the desired height lets you insert the engine mounting through-bolt before installing both bolt and nut with a torque of 68 nm (50 ft. Lbs.). The Starter can be installed while proceeding to lift the vehicle before putting back the upper Fan Shroud.

The initial steps for installing a new left motor mount begin with disconnecting the car Battery Cable and raising the vehicle into position. Disassemble the through-bolt and nut of the Engine Mount on the side you will replace while keeping away from using the Oil Pan or sheet metal or Crankshaft Pulley to maintain component safety. A jack positioned at the engine block square tab enables lifting of the motor before removing frame side mount bolts to extract the frame side mount from its position. You have to first remove the engine side mount bolts before removing both the mount and its attached shield. Combine the mount with shield to the engine while following fastener practices before tightening all bolts to 54 nm (40 ft. Lbs.). Place the mount on the frame before tightening its bolts to 58 nm (43 ft. Lbs.). Secure the through-bolt at the bottom of the engine and thread in the nut while applying torque to 95 nm (70 ft. Lbs.). Afterward reconnect the negative cable of the battery then lower the vehicle.

Take out the engine mount engine bracket bolts, remove the bracket, and the heat shield if necessary.

Broken or deteriorated mounts can lead to misalignment and potential destruction of drive train components, with remaining mounts experiencing abnormally high stresses when one fails.

Reconnect the battery negative cable.

The remaining mounts experience abnormally high stresses.

Install the engine mount through bolt and the nut, tightening the through bolt nut to 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.).

Avoid damage to control linkage and wiring.

Tighten the bolts to 58 Nm (43 ft. lbs.).

Use a jack on the square tab at the rear of the engine block.

Avoid using a jack under the oil pan, any sheet metal, or the crankshaft pulley to prevent component damage.

Tighten the bolts or nuts according to Fastener Tightening Specifications.

Remove the engine mount through-bolt and nut for the side being replaced.

Attach the mount and shield to the engine, ensuring to follow fastener precautions.
