How to replace a dual muffler on 2002 Chevrolet Impala?

Start by raising your vehicle and supporting its exhaust system for dual Muffler replacement. Start by taking out the Catalytic Converter from the Muffler then disconnect the Muffler from its exhaust hangers. Wash down the surfaces where the Catalytic Converter meets the Muffler gasket. Install the Muffler by adding it to exhaust hangers then support the exhaust system before placing a new gasket between the Catalytic Converter and Muffler for Muffler connection. Check for exhaust leaks once you take the support brace off the exhaust system then lower the car.
